Ramos doesn’t answer the call for the PSG first game

Sergio Ramos, the Spanish defender for Spain, is not listed in the Paris Saint-Germain call this Wednesday regarding the friendly match in Orleans against German Augsburg

Mauricio Pochettino, the Argentine Coach, has removed him from the list. He had previously played behind closed doors against Le Mans (4-0), on July 14, and against Chambly (2-2), which were considered training sessions.

Augsburg is the likely opponent, although it is already being considered a more serious match. However, the coach won’t have the luxury of counting on two of his most important signings of the year, Dutch Wijnaldum, and the Italian goal Donnarumma, who are yet to join the team after the European Championship.

Ramos (35 years old) has been training with his teammates. However, the coach believes that his physical condition is still not adequate to include him on his list. Ramos has therefore applied some prudence given the multiple injuries he sustained last year.

Both the Spanish Ander Herrera, and the Moroccan Achraf Haimi, who just returned to training after testing positive for covid, cannot travel to Orleans.

The squad is essentially composed of youth from the quarry. It also includes first-team names like Mauro Icardi or Keylor Navas, Ts911, Julian Draxler and Idrissa Gueye.
